Gradius ReBirth Soundtrack Released

Posted Mon, 09 Mar 2009 by Corbie Dillard

Konami has recently released the full soundtrack to their WiiWare shooter Gradius ReBirth in Japan. If you've got $38.90 laying around and can't live without your fix of Gradius tunes, Play-Asia has the soundtrack for the taking.

It's worth mentioning that this soundtrack isn't likely to see a release outside of Japan, so if you want one, you'd better grab it now as these video game soundtracks tend to sell out quickly and very seldom see a second printing.

We'll keep you posted on any Gradius ReBirth news and hopefully it won't be too much longer before Konami finally releases the game outside of Japan. We'll believe it when we see it. :P

Soundtrack made by Manabu Namiki, the guy behind Dodonpachi, Mushihimesama and other ost of good arcade games. Now release Gradius Rebirth, i'm going to be crazy of this waiting!

I'll probably find a rip eventually at which point I'll give it a listen but otherwise, I'm not going to go searching. :P

@Adam, the game or the CD?

I really don't get what the holdup is with this title. The only translation required is the opening text!

I guess Konami saw the news I put up on the soundtrack and could tell that I was a bit upset. They obviously didn't want to upset me any further so they went ahead and put Gradius out here in the US today. Right? :P

Why are these soundtracks always so ridiculously expensive? I'll pass, I buy whole games for that price, soemtimes several.
