In what is a very unusual move from The Pokémon Company, a selection of music from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team has been shared to YouTube for free streaming.
The uploads are almost certainly in place to celebrate the recent launch of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX on Nintendo Switch - a remake of the two games mentioned above - but it's not often we get the chance to stream or listen to official Nintendo or Pokémon music on a service such as this. It's not the full soundtrack sadly, but there's enough here to please fans of the games:
We've seen other companies like Capcom share lots of music on streaming services like Spotify recently, but it'd be lovely to save our favourite Nintendo classics into our libraries. Hopefully one day!
For now, though, feel free to sit back and enjoy the sweet, sweet tunes of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon franchise as you get on with your day. Lovely.

I don't understand why Nintendo doesn't put all their soundtracks on Spotify.
That's a bit random and also very appreciated. At least we got something.
Well, the Pokémon company does have some of their soundtracks on places like iTunes, so it’s not like Nintendo and their disdain of digital music.
Hopefully they’ll add these to other services too.
Now to get Pokemon Mystery Dungeon music in Smash...
Technically they been up on YouTube for years now.
Nintendo should make their soundtracks officially available on YouTube and/or other streaming services.
Gonna take a nostalgia bath with the menu theme tonight.
@justin233 Yeah, I’ve loved having all those Squeenix, Capcom, Sega etc soundtracks on Spotify.
Your the best Nintendo, thanks a bunch for this.
@nessisonett I know, right? At least they have a few Kirby soundtracks on there.
The music is one of the highlights of this game, great tunes!
Can’t you technically stream most video game songs for free on youtube? Maybe not officially from the companies but I think I can find every soundtrack on youtube.
Nintendo should do that with more games, especially Smash Ultimate which is the best videogame soundtrack in existance.
There were cases of videogame music channels getting shut down, but most of the time, you can't officially obtain those soundtracks, or when you can, they are incomplete, unofficial rips even have advantages since you can often get removed songs still hidden in the files.
Giving us the soundtracks for free, is free advertising, companies should do that more often.
