This is a sumo wrestling game in which players can train and compete in tournament matches in order to become the champion.

Players push, shove, and smack opponents in order to knock them out of a ring. Battles can also contain "over-the-top" moves such as flinging an opponent high into the air or ripping off an opponent's belt, which immediately causes to towel to appear to obscure the character's genitals. The game also includes some training mini-games to improve timing and skill: striking rice bales, eating stew to grow bigger and fatter, stomping, and sparring.
