Can you survive the Pachinkeet Temples of Planet Pachinko?
In the future of the future, an ancient civilization has sealed away its riches in elaborate temples dedicated to the game of pachinko. Now the Robot family must fight through these dangerous temples in search of their lost puppy. Using their rockets, lasers, grenades and slime launchers, will they be able to survive the challenges?
They aren't the only ones adventuring through the temples. The pirate Vile Vill and his minions are looking to loot the temples and take on the Robot family. Play in single-player mode or with a friend in exciting two-player co-op.

The name reminds me of the Price is Right.

Pachinko? What a horrible idea for a videogame! All you would do is shoot the ball and watch it bounce around the table, occaisionally shaking it to get it in the nook you want it in. Not very exciting. Definite pass.

I Was gonna say if you guys were sure this was coming over to the west until i saw it was rated by the ESRB. Considering it's much more popular in Japan, i wonder what America/Europe will think of this

@ Mr Cheez:
The Japanese would like to have a little talk with you.

I remember hearing about Pachinko machines on Power Rangers. I don't think I want my game to turn into a monster and attack me, so I think I'll pass.

From the screenshots, it seems it can be 3 or 4 player co-op, as one of the screens shows two players in and still asking for more. Their official site says only two, so maybe you can get CPU partners or something?
The level setup looks like the SNES horror that was Home Improvement, and the art direction that of the ugly but okay to play SNES Toy Story. Let's hope this game just needs more polish-work or I fear that the first (truly new) WiiWare platformer will be a major miss.
Edit: Um. Guess they're saying they're done with it...

It seems like there's too much going on at once. I'm waiting for a review also just to verify. I need to know what I would be getting into if I were to purchase it.

Personally, I would have bought a Pachinko Simulator for 500 Points easy. There's a reason Japan is hooked on the machines.
But this...just seems like run and gun chaos....but in a confined space.
