Topic: Need help playing online?

I need help finding out how to play human fall flat with my girlfriend. I'm currently not in the same state as her and would still like to play. Anyway we can do that? We've tried hosting and we cant find eachother but we can see other people's games. Just not eachother

What's the application or launcher you guys used. If both of you are using steam there should be no problem with sending invites by going to the menu in the game and inviting a player then it will pop out as a message on his/her steam messages. And one more thing both of you should be friends on steam to receive invites.
